Bright Paradise
The Bright Paradise series explores native and introduced flora as meditations on place, growth, and impermanence, reimagining lush environments through intricate, layered compositions.
Drawing on her training in printmaking, Valentine stretches botanical forms and flattens pictorial space to bring detail forward to the picture plane. Influenced by Japanese printmaking and painting, Manga, and 1990s–2000s Neopop, her work balances precision and exuberance, inviting sustained, close looking.

Tempo
In late 2025, Kate Valentine created a series of large-scale works for Tempo Reformer Pilates’ Freshwater and Seaforth studios. The collaboration emerged through conversations around the light, volume and atmosphere of the studios, and the founder’s vision for the Tempo brand.
